This is a picture I took of my Little E at the weekend.
Summertime is fabulous.
The sun shines, the days are longer, it means we get to play out in the garden in nothing but swimsuits or even in our birthday suits (the girls, not me).
It means balmy evenings, day trips, summer holidays and BBQs.
But I think the heat took its toll on Little E this weekend when we visited my sisters for a family BBQ.
All of a sudden it looked like it had got just that little bit too much for her.
So, like all loving and doting mothers out there, rather than whisking her quickly out of the heat and plying her with lots of water, I had to rush to my phone and quickly snap a cheeky photo!!
Don’t worry – I whisked her up straight afterwards!
It was just too cute to miss.
Wish I could just lie down in the sun without having two little munchkins clambering all over me!!

I completely agree with you about the lazy days, late nights and just enjoying the summer as it’ll be behind us before we know it!! What a super cute photo too! Wee bum up in the air, haha! x
